Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is a humectant — it draws water into the skin and holds it there, capable of binding many times its weight in moisture. It suits every skin type, from oily to dry, and is one of the few actives with virtually no downside. The key to using it well is counterintuitive: apply it to damp skin, then seal with a moisturizer on top. On dry skin, in a dry environment like the UAE's AC, hyaluronic acid alone can actually draw moisture out — so the moisturizer step isn't optional. It layers under everything and conflicts with nothing. For deeper needs, pair with ceramides and explore our Dry & Dehydrated edit.
