Combination Skin

Combination skin behaves like two skin types at once — oily through the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin), normal to dry across the cheeks. The mistake most people make is treating the whole face as one. The approach that works is zoning: balance the oily areas with niacinamide or light salicylic acid, hydrate the drier areas with hyaluronic acid, and use a moisturizer that's rich enough for the cheeks without overloading the T-zone — gel-cream textures tend to suit best. Multi-masking works well here too: clay where you need to detoxify, hydrating mask where you need comfort.
