Description

Silk cream. For the days when something is not quite right and you would rather it stopped.

At a glance: Fragrant comfort cream · external intimate area · for healthy skin · light texture · 30ml · Switzerland

Crème de Soie means silk cream, and it is the most indulgent of the three Hysqia intimate products.

This is a light, softening cream for everyday comfort on the external intimate area. Panthenol and bisabolol, the gentle comforting component of chamomile, sit alongside mallow leaf extract and vitamin E, leaving skin feeling soft, smooth and fresh through the day. It is non-hormonal, and 97.6% of the ingredients are of natural origin.

The texture is silky and light, and it disappears into the skin with a thin layer. The scent is the richest of the range: warm and polished, with bergamot, patchouli and soft woods, a quiet echo of Soie d’Or’s signature.

Our note: This is a comfort cream for healthy skin, not a remedy. If your skin is red, irritated or sore, leave this one on the shelf. Fragrance is the last thing irritated skin needs, and symptoms that persist deserve a doctor rather than a cream. For dryness, Tendresse de Soie is the better choice.

Why You’ll Love It

Comfort ingredients. Panthenol, bisabolol, mallow and vitamin E.
Silky, light texture. A thin layer is enough, and it never feels heavy.
A signature scent. Warm bergamot, patchouli and soft woods.
Non-hormonal, 97.6% natural origin.
Swiss-made, clinically, dermatologically and gynaecologically tested.

How It Feels

Light and silky rather than rich, absorbing quickly without a greasy stage. It is closer to a light facial cream than to a body product, which is appropriate for skin this thin.

The scent is where it becomes interesting. The fragrance ingredients are very close to those in Soie d’Or, which suggests the two share an accord: bergamot and bright citrus at the top, patchouli and cedar underneath, with a warm, slightly powdery finish. Subtle rather than perfumed, and it fades quickly.

How to USE

As a comfort cream. Apply a thin layer to the external intimate area and massage lightly. Use whenever needed, including several times a day.

As a waterless cleanser. Apply, massage gently, then remove with a dry tissue or cotton pad. Do not rinse with water. The brand specifies this because rinsing removes the active ingredients along with the cream, and the point of using it this way is to leave them behind.

That second method is the one worth remembering for flights, hotels with questionable water, and anywhere a proper wash is not practical.

For external use only.

A small amount is enough. This is a 30ml tube and a thin layer is all the formula needs to work.

CARE & PRECAUTIONS

For external use only. Do not use internally. Not a lubricant, not a contraceptive, and not tested for compatibility with condoms. Contains fragrance and fragrance allergens including benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, limonene and coumarin; patch-test before first use if your skin reacts to perfumed products. This is a cosmetic comfort cream, not a treatment. Persistent or painful discomfort, or symptoms accompanied by unusual discharge, odour or bleeding, should be assessed by a doctor. FAQ

What is the difference between Crème de Soie and Tendresse de Soie?

They treat different problems. Tendresse de Soie is a hydrating cream for persistent dryness, built on hyaluronic acid, shea butter and saccharide isomerate. Crème de Soie is a comfort cream for occasional redness and discomfort, built on panthenol, bisabolol and calming botanicals. Constant dryness points to Tendresse; irritation that comes and goes points to Crème de Soie.

Is it hormonal?

No. The brand states clearly that the formula is non-hormonal.

Can it be used without water?

Yes, and this is one of its more useful features. Apply, massage gently, then remove with a dry tissue or cotton pad rather than rinsing. Water would wash away the active ingredients along with the cream, which is why the brand advises against it when using the product this way.

How often can it be used?

As often as needed, including several times a day. It is formulated for frequent use.

What causes occasional intimate irritation?

Friction from clothing or exercise, heat, long periods of sitting, chlorinated or salt water, a change of detergent, and simply being run down. It usually resolves on its own within a few days.

When should I see a doctor instead of using a cream?

If discomfort is persistent, painful, or accompanied by unusual discharge, odour or bleeding. Thrush and bacterial infections are common and easily treated, but they will not respond to a cosmetic cream.

What is teprenone?

A cosmetic active ingredient more commonly found in facial skincare than in intimate care. Its inclusion here is unusual at this product size.

Is it fragranced?

Yes, lightly, and it contains listed fragrance allergens. If your skin is very reactive or you have been advised to avoid fragrance in this area, an unscented formula would be the better choice.

Can it be used internally?

No. For external use only.

What size is it?

30ml. Used occasionally it lasts several months; used daily, around six weeks.
