صابون بليكان للعناية بالوركين - مقشر الجسم بالخوخ الحلو

As a scrub, once or twice a week.

Take roughly a tablespoon and massage it gently over the area on damp skin. Let the particles do the work rather than pressing hard.

Then add warm water, a little at a time. The scrub transforms into a thick foam as you do, which is the part worth paying attention to the first time. Spread the lather over the rest of the body and rinse thoroughly.

As a daily body wash.

Work it up with a body net or sponge and use it as you would any body wash. Gentler, no scrub action, perfectly good every day.

Afterwards. Follow with a body moisturiser while the skin is still damp. The formula leaves skin considerably more comfortable than most scrubs, but the moisture step is still where the result shows.

Where to use it. Anywhere the skin is rough or bumpy. Upper arms, thighs, elbows, knees, and the area the range was named for. Not the face.

What is a soap scrub?

Pelican grind the soap base itself into fine particles and use it as a scrub agent. It exfoliates while you massage it in, then dissolves into a lather as you add warm water, so the product cleanses as well as exfoliates and leaves nothing behind on the skin.

What are the four scrub particles?

Ground soap base, fine peach kernel for pore congestion, coarse salt which also softens the skin surface, and coarse cellulose acetate derived from wood pulp. The different sizes handle different degrees of roughness.

How often should it be used as a scrub?

Once or twice a week. It can also be lathered with a net and used as a daily body wash, which is gentler and involves no scrub action.

Does it leave the skin feeling dry?

It should not. Around half the formula is corn oil, alongside nine moisturising ingredients including peach leaf and seed extracts, kiwi, artichoke leaf, loquat leaf, aloe vera and vitamin C. Following with a body moisturiser on damp skin gives the best result.

How is this different from the Hip Care Soap bar?

The bar is the original and the more affordable option, using peach kernel and konjac scrub. This scrub has four scrub grades, considerably more moisturising content, doubles as a body wash, and comes in a 180g jar rather than an 80g bar.

Is it biodegradable?

The soap base and the cellulose acetate scrub are both plant-derived and biodegradable, which is why Pelican chose them over synthetic scrub beads.

Can it be used on the face?

No. This is formulated for the body.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It is free from parabens, synthetic colourants and silicones, and the oil content makes it gentler than most scrubs. It is still a physical exfoliant, so use it gently, less often, or as a lathered body wash if your skin is reactive.

What does it smell like?

A peach fragrance composed in Grasse in southern France. Apricot and peach at the top, peach blossom, white flowers and red fruits through the middle, finishing on musk.

What size is it?

180g.
