بيليكان فورباك. صابون طبي لعلاج حب الشباب

Tie your hair up first. This is Pelican’s own first instruction and it is the one most people ignore. Shampoo and conditioner residue runs straight down your back, and it is one of the most common reasons back breakouts persist despite careful washing. Wash and rinse your hair first, tie it out of the way, then wash your body.

Work up a proper lather. Build the soap into a thick, dense foam, using a net or a sponge if you have one. The foam is what grips the congestion, so a thin lather does considerably less.

Place the foam, don’t scrub. Spread it gently across the area and leave it for about thirty seconds before rinsing. Scrubbing damages the skin and makes the problem worse, which is the opposite of what you are trying to achieve.

Rinse thoroughly, then pat dry with a towel rather than rubbing. Press rather than drag.

Afterwards. Keep underwear, bedding and pillowcases clean, and change them more often than feels necessary. It makes more difference than most products do.

A note about towels. The soap is black, and it can leave marks on fine-weave towels. The colour rinses out with water.

On the face. It is formulated as a body soap, but several users wash their faces with it as well. If you try that, go gently and follow with a moisturiser.

Active ingredients: Isopropylmethylphenol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate.

Other ingredients: Soap Base, Bentonite, Kaolin, Dextrin, Citric Acid, Concentrated Glycerin, Medicinal Charcoal, Glycerin, Papain, Ascorbyl Palmitate, 1,3-Butylene Glycol, Purified Water, Black Iron Oxide, Tocopherol, Collagen Tripeptide F, Yuzu Ceramide, Fragrance.

Formulated without synthetic surfactants, parabens, silicones, UV absorbers, mineral oil and alcohol. Ingredients listed in the Japanese quasi-drug format, which separates declared actives from other ingredients.

For external use only. Do not use on skin with wounds, swelling, eczema, dermatitis or other abnormalities, as this may worsen the condition. Discontinue use if redness, swelling, itching, irritation or any unusual reaction occurs, and consult a dermatologist if symptoms persist. Avoid contact with eyes; if the soap enters the eyes, rinse immediately without rubbing, and consult an ophthalmologist if any sensation remains. The soap contains botanical ingredients, so slight variation in colour or scent may occur without affecting quality. May leave marks on fine-weave towels; the colour rinses out with water. Keep out of reach of infants and young children. Store away from direct sunlight and extremes of temperature.

Why do people break out on their back?

The skin across the back produces a similar amount of sebum to the face, then spends the day under clothing where heat and humidity build up. Dead skin blocks the follicles and congestion follows. Shampoo and conditioner residue running down the back during washing is another common contributor.

Should I wash my hair before or after using this?

Before. Wash and rinse your hair first, then tie it up and out of the way before washing your body. Product residue running down the back is one of the most overlooked causes of persistent back breakouts.

How long should the lather stay on the skin?

About thirty seconds. Spread the foam gently across the area, leave it, then rinse. Do not scrub, which damages the skin and tends to make congestion worse.

Why is the soap black?

It contains medicinal charcoal and black iron oxide. The charcoal works alongside bentonite and kaolin clays to draw out congestion from the pores.

Will it stain my towels?

It can leave marks on fine-weave towels. The colour rinses out with water.

Is it drying?

The formula includes yuzu ceramide and collagen specifically to counter that, so it is designed to clear congestion without stripping. Users with oily skin report it does not leave the skin tight.

Can it be used on the face?

It is formulated as a body soap. Some users do wash their faces with it, and if you do, be gentle and follow with a moisturiser.

Can it be used on the chest and shoulders?

Yes. The same conditions that cause back breakouts apply to the chest, shoulders and upper arms.

What size is the bar?

135g.

What is in the For Back range?

A soap and a gel mist. The mist is designed for applying moisture to the back afterwards, which is otherwise difficult to reach.
