Pores

Pores can't truly be "shrunk" — their size is largely genetic — but they can be made to look considerably smaller. Enlarged-looking pores are usually a mix of excess oil, trapped debris, and loss of firmness in the surrounding skin. The approach: keep them clear and tighten their appearance. Salicylic acid dissolves the oil and dead cells that stretch pores open, while niacinamide regulates sebum and improves the look of pore walls over time. Retinol helps too, by refining texture. Avoid heavy, pore-clogging creams and never skip cleansing oily skin at night.
